I am Lynsey! I am a local and destination wedding photographer based in Kenora Ontario- Yup, born and raised. My love for the lake is what kept me here & now I get to use all the beautiful lake and country scenes for Weddings and Photo shoots! I feel super blessed to be able to capture memories around all this area. I would say my style of photography is a mix of nostalgic and boldness. Moody but soft. Less posed and more prompting to get those genuine emotions. I like to capture moments where you can look back and feel them again. That's what it's all about right? Smiling at the camera is great and all but nothing beats a moment where it seems as if the camera isn't there. I really love what I do and strive to go the extra mile when it comes to anything you may need during your planning process or during your photo session. Even though weddings are huge in what I do , I also do Family photography , Boudoir, Engagement , Couple, and Newborn.

You ever go for a walk, go for dinner, or go to the grocery store and notice other peoples love all around you? Do you ever notice a guy holding his wife's hand while they cross the street, or how he slowly pulls her to the side when i vehicle passes? Do you ever notice an older couple staring into each other's eyes over the dinner table? Do you ever notice his hand on her back while they wait in line at the grocery store, or how she gets an eyelash out of his eye in a parking lot while he smiles. Do you ever just stop and notice all the love around you and see all those connections between the souls out there? I do, I do all the time. This is why I love doing what I do. Although I may sound like a creep to you, I think this is what makes me good at what I do. I love being behind the camera and seeing two people be so connected, so bonded, so free in their own world. I want to capture your special connection and give those to you so you can have them forever.

Growing up we have watched fairy tales, we have read romance novels, we've cried , we've yearned for that, we go through a lot to find that. When you finally find that & it’s time to capture what you two share just know I will capture the honest versions of you. When you book me as your wedding photographer, just know i am not only there to take photos of you.. I'm not only your NEW friend, i am there to capture the true, honest connection.

Just be YOURSELF and i'll do the rest! Your comfort is my priority and I will always strive to capture exactly what you have been imagining. There is no right way to do this thing. You show up, I do the rest. I know having your photo taken is a very nerve wracking thing but trust me , you are in good hands! 95 percent of my clients are crazy nervous for their session and then leave thanking me for making them feel so comfortable and being so easy going. I am a bit of an Empath so I usually catch the vibe and know what I need to do to make you feel comfortable. Trust me on this one. Now, Lets chat , plan & capture !
